About the Program

The BOKU Doctoral School in AgriGenomics links overlapping research fields with the aim to unravel the genetic and biochemical mechanisms underlying the performance of agricultural organisms and products and to use them for the breeding of farm animals and plants. This interdisciplinary approach provides doctoral candidates with knowledge of methodologies used across research fields, with the added value of understanding the holistic nature of agricultural systems.
