FAO Young Professionals Program

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations offers the Young Professionals Programme, designed for talented young professionals who want to contribute their knowledge and skills to FAO’s work toward a sustainable and food-secure future. Selected candidates are appointed as Young Professional Officers and receive a two-year fixed-term appointment. The program provides an opportunity to gain professional experience in a multicultural UN environment, with positions available in various countries such as Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Thailand, Nepal, and other locations.
